Opened on July 9, 1999, Sala São Paulo is housed in a historic former railway station. Originally completed in 1938, the building underwent an extensive restoration and remodeling process led by the State Government of São Paulo. The venue serves as the home for the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (Osesp) and its choir. It is internationally renowned as one of the finest concert halls in the world due to its exceptional acoustics. For those wishing to enjoy the dining facilities and the gift shop without the interruption of performances, the best visiting hours are Monday through Friday between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, or on Saturdays, depending on the event schedule.
